Our testing process begins with a thorough search of your property for any signs of asbestos. All members of our experienced asbestos removal team can identify many forms of asbestos containing materials throughout your entire home.

While inspecting a suspected asbestos material by eye can never be 100% conclusive, our years of experience help us identify whether a material contains asbestos fibres confidently. If our findings are inconclusive, we conduct asbestos sampling where we take a piece of the material to further test for any traces of asbestos. When conducting the asbestos removal process we conduct air quality testing via our asbestos air monitoring service, this ensures any asbestos fibres are contained.

Reliable asbestos testing process

After performing a thorough asbestos inspection, we will take samples of loose fibres we believe may contain asbestos upon request. These samples are sent to a NATA accredited laboratory in Perth, Western Australia, to test for asbestos and provide the most accurate results.

Once we receive the test results, we will provide you with a provisional quote for the asbestos removal and disposal. In some cases, we may find more asbestos at your property during the initial removal. If this happens, we will contact you and provide photos showing we have found additional asbestos material and let you know the cost of removing it.

As a small local business, we value honesty, and we will never create work that does not need to be done. We will not tell you something is asbestos when it’s not, and if we do come across some material that is found not to be asbestos during the removal, we will leave it in place and take it off the final invoice.

We employ the safest possible techniques when taking a sample, followed by sealing any exposed areas of asbestos that are caused by the sample removal. The samples are sent to a NATA (National Australian Testing Authority) certified laboratory for analysis. Upon gaining the results, we will provide you with a full report and photo references of locations and results.
